Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Development Executive (Associate) to join our core team. Youll work directly with the Founder to research markets, connect with CXOs and founders, and build a strong international client pipeline.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys research, outreach, and relationship-building and wants to grow into a key part of our business development function.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Research & Prospecting
  • Identify potential clients in the SaaS/tech sectors via LinkedIn, Crunchbase, and other relevant platforms.
  • Build and maintain a list of qualified leads and decision-makers.


  • Outreach & Networking
  • Execute multi-channel outreach (LinkedIn, email, Twitter).
  • Personalise messages to resonate with CXOs and founders.
  • Represent Phionike in online communities and relevant events.


  • Pipeline Management
  • Maintain CRM (Notion/HubSpot) and track lead progress.
  • Ensure consistent follow-ups and pipeline reporting.


  • Collaboration with Design Team
  • Coordinate on case studies, pitch decks, and proposals.
  • Support in preparing presentations for prospective clients.


  • Growth Experiments
  • Test new BD tactics (content-driven outreach, partnerships, micro-events).
  • Track competitor strategies and share market insights.


What Were Looking For
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Research-driven mindset ability to find and qualify the right clients.
  • Comfortable with LinkedIn, email tools, and CRM software.
  • Interest in design, startups, and the SaaS ecosystem.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a lean team environment.
  • Bonus: Prior internship/experience in BD, sales, or startups.
