Business Data Analyst 

Primary Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Data Analyst with 5-6 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in data analysis, business process understanding, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Experience in working cross-functionally with business stakeholders and IT teams is essential to drive data-driven strategies and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and data needs.

·       Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support strategic business decisions.

·       Model and map current and future business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.

·       Translate business needs into technical specifications and work closely with IT/data teams to implement solutions.

·       Conduct workshops, meetings, and presentations to align stakeholders and obtain buy-in on project goals and deliverables.

·       Support testing and validation of new systems and processes to ensure they meet business requirements.

·       Document business processes, requirements, and solution designs for reference and compliance.

·       Monitor ongoing business performance and suggest optimization strategies.

·       Serve as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure seamless communication and project success.

Desired Skills 

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in science, Engineering and related disciplines.

Work Experience

·       5-6 years of experience in business data analysis, business analysis, or related roles.

·       Strong Knowledge of banking or financial services domain.

·       Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.

·       Experience with BI tools is a plus.

·       Solid understanding of business processes and ability to model and document workflows. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

·       Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.

·       Familiarity with data visualization best practices and reporting standards.

·       Preferred to have experience with data warehousing concepts and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
