Job summary
We are seeking a GeoSpatial Lead Java professional with 4 to 8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Postman RestAssured and Automation. This role operates on a hybrid work model with day shifts and does not require travel. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining geospatial applications ensuring high-quality deliverables that align with our companys goals and societal impact.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and maintenance of geospatial applications using Java technologies.Oversee the integration of geospatial data with various systems and applications.Provide technical expertise in Postman and RestAssured for API testing and automation.Develop and execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of geospatial applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for geospatial projects.Ensure the scalability and reliability of geospatial applications through effective coding practices.Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to geospatial data and applications.Implement best practices for geospatial data management and processing.Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in geospatial and Java development.Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.Document technical specifications and user guides for geospatial applications.Support the deployment and maintenance of geospatial applications in production environments.
Qualifications
Possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.Have 4 to 8 years of experience in Java development with a focus on geospatial applications.Demonstrate strong expertise in Postman and RestAssured for API testing and automation.Show proficiency in developing and executing automated test scripts.Exhibit excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Have experience working in a hybrid work model.Display strong communication and collaboration skills.Be familiar with best practices in geospatial data management and processing.Have a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with industry trends.Show ability to work independently and as part of a team.Demonstrate attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.Have experience with Agile development methodologies.Be able to document technical specifications and user guides effectively.
