Job summary

We are seeking a skilled GeoSpatial Developer with 3 to 6 years of experience in Java development. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in SQL Jira GITHUB Database Basics RestAssured and Selenium. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can contribute to our innovative projects and help drive our companys success. The position operates during the day shift and does not require travel.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain geospatial applications using Java to meet project requirements and client needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design implement and test geospatial solutions.
  • Utilize SQL to manage and manipulate geospatial data stored in databases.
  • Employ Jira for project management and tracking of development tasks and issues.
  • Use GITHUB for version control and collaborative development.
  • Apply Database Basics knowledge to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Implement and execute automated tests using RestAssured and Selenium to ensure software quality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to geospatial applications.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in geospatial development.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
  • Ensure that all development activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.

  • Possess a strong understanding of Java programming and its application in geospatial development.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in SQL for data management and manipulation.
  • Have experience using Jira for project management and issue tracking.
  • Show expertise in GITHUB for version control and collaborative development.
  • Understand Database Basics to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Be skilled in using RestAssured and Selenium for automated testing.
  • Exhibit problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Have excellent communication skills to provide technical support and guidance.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in geospatial development.
  • Be proactive in contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all development activities.
  • Be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 6 years of relevant experience.
