Job summary

We are seeking a highly skilled GeoSpatial Developer with 8 to 10 years of experience in Java to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business operations and will work in a hybrid model with day shifts. This role does not require travel. The candidate will contribute to the development and implementation of geospatial solutions that drive our business forward.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement geospatial solutions using Java to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize geospatial applications.
  • Provide technical expertise in geospatial data analysis and visualization.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of geospatial data within the applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to geospatial applications and data.
  • Maintain and update existing geospatial applications to improve performance and functionality.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in geospatial development.
  • Document technical specifications and user guides for geospatial applications.
  • Participate in project planning and provide estimates for development tasks.
  • Work closely with business operations teams to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in geospatial development.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

  • Possess a strong background in Java programming with at least 8 years of experience.
  • Have experience in developing and implementing geospatial solutions.
  • Demonstrate expertise in business operations and understanding of their technical needs.
  • Show proficiency in geospatial data analysis and visualization techniques.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Be familiar with industry standards and best practices in geospatial development.
