Job summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager with 10 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java and Retail Point-of-Service systems. This hybrid role requires excellent project management skills to oversee and deliver complex projects. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our retail technology initiatives.
Responsibilities
Oversee the planning execution and delivery of multiple projects within the retail technology domain.Ensure all projects are delivered on time within scope and within budget.Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.Manage changes to the project scope project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.Report and escalate to management as needed.Perform risk management to minimize project risks.Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.Ensure resource availability and allocation.Provide technical direction and guidance to the project team.Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the alignment of project goals with business objectives.
Qualifications
Possess a strong background in Java programming and Retail Point-of-Service systems.Demonstrate excellent project management skills with a proven track record of successful project delivery.Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.Show proficiency in project management software tools and methodologies.Hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.Experience in a hybrid work model and ability to adapt to changing environments.Strong understanding of retail industry standards and practices.Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.Demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.Show commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
Certifications Required
PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
