Role Overview
The Digital Securities Markets Business Operation Specialist will work at the intersection of business, technology, and operations, supporting and delivering services across Digital Securities Markets. The role requires a deep understanding of product workflows, operational issues, and technology dependencies to improve product stability, resilience, and scalability.
The successful candidate will play a key role in representing the business in change initiatives, driving transformation, and contributing to the strategic product roadmap—including decommissioning legacy systems and enabling migration into strategic platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Business Operations & Transformation
- Own and manage Business Operation processes within Digital Markets Infrastructure (DMI).
- Lead transformation initiatives from the Bangalore location, ensuring alignment with global objectives.
- Support operational excellence through structured problem-solving and cross-team coordination.
Product & Delivery Support
- Partner with business, technology, and operations teams to support key initiatives and projects.
- Embed and implement the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) across Digital Securities Markets products.
- Ensure Business Service information is accurate, updated, and accessible to support decision-making across Change, Incident, Problem, Strategy, and Design processes.
Strategic Alignment & Roadmap Ownership
- Contribute to the product roadmap, ensuring alignment across business services and applications.
- Participate in strategic planning, including the decommissioning of legacy products and migration to preferred strategic solutions.
- Drive portfolio-level delivery aligned to GSO/DSO strategic objectives.
Service Improvement & Operational Analytics
- Define and track metrics for Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) to enhance product efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support SLA alignment through benchmark monitoring and proactive service performance management.
- Leverage Operational Analytics to derive insights and guide business decisions.
Stakeholder Management
- Build and sustain strong partnerships with key business and technology collaborators.
- Represent business interests in change, transformation, and operational forums.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Solid understanding of Digital Securities Markets, related products, and operational workflows.
- Demonstrated experience working with technology and operations teams to resolve issues.
- Knowledge of PDLC, organizational change, and service management processes.
- Analytical demeanor with the ability to derive insights from operational data.
- Good communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on resilience, stability, and continuous improvement.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, or equivalent professional experience.
- 10+ years of proven ability preferably within capital markets, especially in Digital Securities or Market Infrastructure Securities.
- Solid background working with Trading Platforms, including understanding of workflows, dependencies, and operational processes.
- Background in Business Operations, Product Operations, Product Management, or Service Management.
- Exposure to large-scale technology transformation or product migration programmes.
- Hands‑on experience with Power BI for reporting and Power Automate for workflow automation.
- Superb interpersonal skills with the ability to be assertive, influence decisions, and manage senior collaborators effectively.
- Demonstrable experience leading, coaching, and developing a team, including providing training and ongoing support.
