Summary: As a Business Architect, you will identify opportunities to deliver tangible business value by assessing the current state, capturing high-level requirements, and defining business solutions. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to translate business needs into technology-enabled solutions and operating models, while also supporting transformation initiatives through the development of business cases and guiding implementation efforts. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and ensure alignment among stakeholders. - Analyze and document business processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization. - Act as business data analyst in insurance data migration / data warehousing projects - Participate in requirement elicitation for project - Data Mapping elicitation and test management support - Assisting technical team in functional areas and techno-functional support - Assist in client queries on mapping and ETL and suggest design patterns to solve techno-functional problems - Device functional test strategy - Execute functional testing - Innovate for better productivity ESSENTIAL: - Ability to jointly drive client requirement workshops for data migration or warehousing requirements - Ability to drive testing methodology with testing personnel - Exposure to cloud projects (AWS/Azure/GCP) - Awareness of typical insurance ecosystem's downstream systems functions - Reporting requirements exposure - Direct client exposure / end client interaction exposure - Data projects SDLC knowledge and exposure Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Business Requirements Analysis, Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies. - Strong analytical skills to assess business needs and translate them into actionable requirements. - Experience in developing business cases and project proposals. - Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences. - Familiarity with business process modeling and improvement methodologies. VITAL: Life / P&C Insurance domain knowledge - Insurance data model exposure from warehousing side - Insurance data migration exposure - Strong SQL skills - Understanding of ETL process - Familiarity of insurance data project functional artefacts and drafting skills there of - Ability to elicit mapping documents for data migration and warehousing projects - Ability to perform techno function testing - Ability to guide team for techno-functional issues - Strong analytical skills Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in Business Requirements Analysis. - This position is based in Mumbai/ Flex. - A 15 years full time education is required. - Preferably ALMI (LOMA) or Associate in Life Insurance (III) - Exposure to North American and / or European client projects - Willingness to work in shifts15 years full time education
