Job Overview:

We are seeking a Business Analyst with 5-7 years of experience to support our hedge funds and private credit operations. This role requires a deep understanding of fund structures, post-trade processes, and business analysis methodologies. The candidate will be responsible for requirement gathering, writing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), conducting market research, analyzing competitor products, and supporting user testing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirement Gathering & Documentation: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, draft Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), and define functional specifications.
2. Market Research & Competitor Analysis: Conduct research on industry trends, assess competitor offerings, and provide insights to improve fund operations and technology solutions.
3. User Testing & Implementation Support: Work with IT and operations teams to perform user testing, validate system updates, and ensure seamless integration of new processes.
4. Market intel: Stay current on market developments and products in post-trade activities, including trade settlements, reconciliations, fund accounting, and investor reporting.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between business, technology, and operations teams to drive process improvements and operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in hedge funds, private credit, or fund operations.
• chartered accountant Mandatory
• Strong understanding of fund structures, post-trade operations, and alternative investment vehicles.
• Experience in requirement gathering, BRD documentation, and business process analysis.
• Knowledge of fund accounting, NAV calculations, and investor reporting.
• Familiarity with SQL, data analysis, and business intelligence tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
