Were Hiring Senior Business Analyst | Private Equity & Capital Markets

ThoughtFocus is looking for a seasoned Senior Business Analyst with strong expertise in Private Equity, Private Credit, and Alternative Investments to join our growing team. If you enjoy solving complex business problems, working with global stakeholders, and driving impactful digital solutions, this role is for you.

Experience: 815 years

Work Model: Hybrid

Global Exposure: Collaborate with international teams, including New York

What Youll Do:

• Partner with clients and business teams to understand workflows, challenges, and strategic goals
• Work closely with Subject Matter Experts across Alternative Assets and Private Credit markets
• Conduct current vs. future state assessments and recommend scalable solutions
• Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements
• Analyze business processes, system workflows, and data relationships
• Provide techno-functional expertise while collaborating with technical teams
• Drive program priorities and support cross-functional initiatives

Must-Have Domain Expertise:

Private Equity fund operations, deal lifecycle, and fund accounting

Alternative investments and asset classes, including Private Credit

End-to-end fund accounting processes

Strong understanding of Capital Markets

Key Skills:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within alternative assets or capital markets
• Strong SQL and data analysis capabilities
• Experience with enterprise platforms such as Investran, Semarchy (MDM), and Salesforce
• Familiarity with Agile tools like JIRA, Rally, or Azure Boards
• Excellent client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
