Role: Business Analyst

Experience Range: 5-7 yrs

Location: Mumbai, Delhi, NCR, Chennai

Educational Criteria: Full time MBA is a must from Tier 1 Colleges or University


Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and gather detailed business requirements, especially in the context of post-merger integration and harmonization.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions, including those related to merging operations and aligning business units. Drive quantitative data analysis using common tools such as Excel to deep dive into data trends and insights, supporting harmonization and project management objectives.
  • Develop and document business process models to illustrate current and future states, with an emphasis on harmonizing processes post-merger. Understand business requirements and convert them into functional and non-functional requirements, factoring in the needs of both legacy and newly merged organizations.
  • Communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders and executives, ensuring alignment during integration and harmonization phases.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure responsibilities are completed efficiently and all deadlines are met in a complex and largely autonomous work environment.
  • Lead and participate in project management activities, including planning, tracking, and reporting on post-merger harmonization initiatives.
  • Contribute towards a continuous idea pipelinecreate, compile, and help analyze ideas for service improvement, especially those supporting the integration of merged entities.


Preferred Skill Profile / Other Pre-requisites

  • Functional understanding Enterprise platforms, business operations and IT systems
  • Adapts well to ambiguity and change, as often seen in mergers and acquisitions.
  • Drives independent workstreams within team projects, including harmonization efforts.
  • Strong secondary research, analytical, consulting, problem-solving abilities, data-driven decision-maker
  • Excellent stakeholder management, customer-facing, and communication skills
  • Communicates complex harmonization concepts clearly, both in writing and presentations
  • Demonstrates flexibility about work location and willingness to travel frequently, which may be required during integration phases
  • Self-motivated with outstanding documentation skills for project and post-merger activities
  • Advanced skills in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
