Job Title: Business Analyst / Project Manager Risk Technology (Capital Markets)


Location: Indore / Pune

Experience: 1016 Years

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Analyst / Project Manager (BA/PM) to lead Risk Technology initiatives within Capital Markets.

The ideal candidate must have strong dual experience as both:

Business Analyst (BA)


Project Manager (PM)


This is a leadership-oriented role requiring ownership of Agile delivery, stakeholder alignment, financial governance, and regulatory traceability within Risk systems.

Candidates must have prior experience in Capital Markets, Fixed Income, or Commercial Lending environments.


Primary Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirement Management

Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements using Agile methodologies.

Translate business requirements into actionable JIRA epics, stories, and tasks.

Implement and maintain full requirements traceability for Management, Audit, and regulatory stakeholders.

Collaborate with Risk Technology stakeholders to ensure business alignment and compliance.


Project & Delivery Management

Lead Agile ceremonies and ensure adherence to Agile principles and Risk governance standards.

Define realistic timelines, manage forecasts, and proactively communicate risks and mitigation strategies.

Ensure strong fiscal control and accountability for project budgets and resource allocation.

Monitor delivery milestones and ensure timely execution.


Agile Governance & Process Improvement

Drive Agile framework adoption across Risk Technology initiatives.

Continuously improve Agile processes for enhanced efficiency and quality.

Ensure compliance with enterprise policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.


Reporting & Documentation

Create dashboards and reports covering:

Project Plan & Scope

Status & Risk Updates

Team Productivity

Data Exceptions & Controls

Maintain structured documentation and reusable templates.

Provide management-level reporting and executive summaries.



Collaboration & Communication

Work effectively across global teams and multiple time zones.

Partner with Risk stakeholders, business users, and technology teams.

Educate teams and stakeholders on Agile best practices.

Act as a bridge between business, technology, and compliance teams.



Key Skills & Competencies

Proven experience as both Business Analyst and Project Manager.

Strong experience in Risk Technology projects.

Mandatory domain expertise in:

Capital Markets

Fixed Income

Commercial Lending

Experience working on Agile-based cloud projects (Azure preferred).

Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies.

Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, and data validation techniques.

Experience with tools:

JIRA

Confluence

Visio / Gliffy

SharePoint

Office365

Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.



Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

10+ years of overall experience.

5+ years of domain experience in Capital Markets / Fixed Income / Commercial Lending.

Strong Agile delivery experience within Risk Technology programs.
