Business Analyst SAP SD/MM & Integration

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong knowledge of SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) and SAP MM (Materials Management), along with integration experience using middleware platforms such as MuleSoft and SAP BTP. The ideal candidate will be proficient in system mapping, functional design, and collaboration with multiple technical partners while working in an Agile delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a Business Analyst (BA) bridging business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Perform system mapping and analyze end-to-end business processes across SAP and integrated systems.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Design and maintain mapping sheets for system integrations.
• Create functional JSON specifications for integrations and APIs.
• Work closely with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft and/or SAP BTP, understanding integration concepts and data flows.
• Support Business Continuity by ensuring system processes and integrations are well-documented and resilient.
• Collaborate with multiple technical partners, including SAP, integration, and third-party vendors.
• Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
• Track requirements and progress using JIRA and related Agile tools.
• Support testing activities including UAT, defect triage, and validation of functional solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on knowledge of SAP SD and SAP MM modules.
• Good understanding of middleware and integration concepts (MuleSoft, SAP BTP, or similar).
• Ability to design integration mapping documents and functional specifications.
• Experience writing functional JSON for integrations.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodology and BA best practices.
• Experience working with JIRA for backlog and sprint management.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience working with multiple technical teams and vendors.

Nice to Have

• Experience in large-scale SAP transformation or integration programs.
• Exposure to API-led connectivity and cloud-based integrations.
• Knowledge of business continuity or system resiliency planning.
