PURPOSE of the function:
Process, structure, and analyze business and operational data to generate performance insights that identify efficiency improvements, productivity gains, and revenue optimization opportunities aligned with strategic goals.
Develop analytical frameworks, commercial models, and practical analysis tools, supported by sound data preparation, to enable pricing, sales effectiveness, and business growth decisions. Source, clean, and analyze business and operational information to deliver timely insights, forecasting, and performance analysis that support sales planning, customer profitability, and market decisions.
Support automated analysis, integrated reporting, and repeatable data processes that improve the speed, consistency, and quality of commercial decision-making.
Partner with the Customers, Commercial, Operations, and Finance teams by combining data handling capability with clear communication to deliver practical, commercially sound insights.
Main Duties:
- Analyze sales, pricing, and customer performance to identify revenue growth opportunities, margin improvement levers, and insights that support commercial and sales decision-making.
- Develop commercial models and performance analysis to support pricing strategies, customer profitability reviews, and business case evaluations.
- Deliver revenue-focused insights and reporting using business intelligence tools, including Power BI dashboards, to provide clear visibility on sales performance, demand trends, operational performance, and commercial outcomes.
- Partner with Commercial and Sales teams to translate analysis and BI insights into actionable recommendations that support growth initiatives and customer strategies.
- Apply forecasting, scenario analysis, and advanced analytics to support revenue planning, pipeline visibility, and strategic decision-making.
- Analyze operational costs, service levels, and efficiency drivers to identify cost reduction opportunities, productivity improvements, and margin protection initiatives.
- Develop cost and operational performance reporting using business intelligence tools, including Power BI, to improve visibility of cost drivers, utilization, service performance, and operational KPIs.
- Process, structure, and validate business data to support accurate revenue, cost, and operational performance analysis, ensuring consistency across BI reports and analytical outputs.
- Design and maintain analytical and BI workflows that automate recurring revenue, cost, and operational performance analysis, improving efficiency and reducing manual effort.
- Collaborate with Customer, Operations, Finance, and IT to ensure data flows and BI reporting accurately reflect operational realities, cost structures, and performance measures.
- Act as a point of analytical reference for initiatives and projects, providing clarity on assumptions, data limitations, and commercial, cost, or operational implications.
- Validate and refine analytical and BI outputs to ensure insights meet commercial expectations, operational requirements, and quality standards.

Responsibility:
- Become the owner of the Single Source of Truth for NewCold ANZ business
- Provide tangible and measurable quarterly improvement project plan.
- Lead process to implement improvement plan.
- Monitor and review solutions based on the agreed improvement plan.
- Periodic progress report.
Quality, Environment, Safety & Health (QESH):
Accountable
- Reporting and investigating all QESH and COR issues.
Responsible
- Ensuring their team are familiar with and adhere to relevant QESH and COR procedures and control measures.
Authority
- Stop unsafe work and remove themselves and their team from a hazardous situation.
- Non-conforming product is clearly identified, effectively quarantined to prevent release.
Customer Service:
- To engage and liaise with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- To ensure accurate and prompt communication and assistance to customers
- To be pro-active in resolving issues and problems before they occur
Compulsory Consultation
- Regular communication with Senior Management team on progress and strategy
- Site and Operational Managers across NewCold AUNZ Operations
Chain of Responsibility (CoR)
- To ensure all reasonable steps are being taken to ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR)
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education/ Skills
- Relevant tertiary qualification or relevant discipline preferred.
- Min 1-3 years in a manufacturing or warehouse and/or delivery operations environment
- Excellent Microsoft and industry related computer systems knowledge (Excel advanced)
- Effective stakeholder engagement.
- Critical thinker.
- Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills.
- A self-starter attitude and an ability to approach problems with minimal direction
- Possesses clear knowledge of computer ordering systems (preferably WMS)
- Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices
- Process strong analytical skills to interpret data to make decisions
- Working knowledge of manufacturing cost calculations, gathering production information, and production scheduling
