Business Analyst – Master Data

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst Master Data to drive master data governance, process optimization, and data quality across enterprise systems. This role requires strong collaboration with business teams, IT, and data governance groups to ensure high-quality and consistent master data.

Role: Business Analyst Master Data

Locations: Hyderabad & Bengaluru (Primary) + Open for PAN India-3 Days Onsite

Employment Type: Full-time (Contract through Andortech)

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document master data requirements (Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance, etc.)
• Analyze existing master data processes and define improved ToBe processes
• Support Master Data Governance (MDG) policies, controls & standards
• Define data models, hierarchies, attributes & business rules
• Ensure data quality, consistency, compliance across systems
• Create functional specs, process flows & requirement documents
• Support data migration, cleansing, validation & reconciliation
• Act as a bridge between business and technical implementation teams
• Assist with UAT, defect management & postgolive support

Required Skills & Experience

• 58 years as a Business Analyst specializing in Master Data
• Strong experience with Customer, Vendor, Material & Financial Master Data
• Solid understanding of data governance, data quality & data lifecycle
• Experience with SAP ECC / S4HANA
• Knowledge of MDM / MDG concepts
• Strong documentation & stakeholder management skills
• Experience with data migration & transformation initiatives
