Business Analyst

(A)JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Business Analyst with 8 10 years of experience who can independently steer projects from requirement gathering to delivery. The ideal candidate must possess strong technical understanding, business acumen, and the ability to confidently communicate with Senior Management and key stakeholders. This role requires ownership, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

(B) JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITY

Project Ownership

• Drive end-to-end project lifecycle from requirement analysis to deployment.
• Steer cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Identify project risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans proactively.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical implementation.

Requirement Analysis & Documentation

• Conduct workshops, stakeholder discussions, and requirement elicitation sessions.
• Prepare BRD, FRD, SRS, user stories, process flows, and use cases.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear functional specifications.
• Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Technical & Functional Expertise

• Possess strong understanding of system architecture, APIs, databases, integrations, and SDLC.
• Collaborate closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Participate in solution design discussions and provide functional guidance.
• Support UAT, data validation, and go-live activities.

Stakeholder & Senior Management Interaction

• Confidently present project updates, solution approaches, and risk assessments to Senior Management.
• Facilitate strategic discussions and provide analytical insights for decision-making.
• Act as a bridge between business leadership and technical teams.

Process Improvement & Governance

• Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to governance standards and documentation quality.
• Monitor KPIs and project performance metrics.

(C) QUALIFICATION & SKILLSET

• 810 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT/Product-based environments.
• Strong technical understanding (APIs, databases, integrations, system workflows).
• Proven ability to independently drive projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
• Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Excel, or equivalent.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA / B.Tech / MCA or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in enterprise-grade applications or large transformation projects.
• Exposure to data analytics and reporting tools is an added advantage.
