Role/Job Title: Business Analyst/ Sr Business Analyst

Job Purpose

To lead business analysis for finance and procurement transformation initiatives by optimizing procuretopay processes, enhancing ERP (Oracle/SAP) workflows, and ensuring compliance with GST, TDS, and banking integrations. The role enables efficient vendor management, accurate payment processing, and strong crossfunctional collaboration to support IDFC FIRST Banks operational and digital transformation goals.

Primary Skills

• 7 - 10 years as a Business Analyst on enterprise finance, procurement, or ERP transformation programmes
• Proven hands-on experience with procure-to-pay (P2P) processes: purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipt, invoice matching, and payment runs
• Strong understanding of payment processing workflows including TDS deductions, advance/milestone-based payments, and bank integration (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS)
• Experience working with Oracle EBS or a comparable ERP (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) in a finance/AP/procurement context
• Familiarity with Indian GST compliance: GSTIN validation, e-invoicing (IRN/IRP), GSTR filing, and ITC reconciliation
• Demonstrated ability to define complex approval workflows, DOA matrices, and business rules for configurable systems
• Experience with vendor management processes including onboarding, KYC, scoring, and contract management
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across finance, procurement, compliance, and technology teams
• Strong documentation skills: BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process maps (BPMN), and data flow diagrams

Secondary Skill

• Experience with cloud-native or microservices-based platforms (Spring Boot, Kafka, React)
• Exposure to OCR/AI-driven invoice processing or document extraction tools
• CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent BA certification
• Experience with vendor portals or B2B self-service platforms
• Prior involvement in MSME compliance, e-way bill integration, or government API integrations (GSTN GSP, Income Tax)

Education Qualification:

• Graduation: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) / Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)
• Post-Graduation: Master of Science (M.Sc) /Master of Technology (M.Tech) / Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
