Business Analyst

Role: Business Analyst / System Development & Testing

Department: Retail Health & PA Product Actuarial Team

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Analysis and Documentation: Prepare detailed Functional Specification Documents (FSD), Business Requirement Documents (BRD), and User Interface Guides.
• Gap Analysis: Identify gaps between client requirements and product features, proposing solutions to bridge them.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), create test cases, and ensure thorough functional and regression testing.
• Project Management: Monitor project progress, maintain trackers, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
• Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with internal teams (IT, QA, etc.) and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Training and Support: Train users on product functionality and provide ongoing support. 

Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Background: A degree in IT, Science, or Business Administration.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and wireframe design tools (e.g., Balsamiq, Visio). Basic SQL knowledge is often required.
• Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of insurance processes, including claims, underwriting, and policy administration.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and team management capabilities.
