Job Description
Role Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned Business Analyst with extensive experience in Corporate Lending to join our team with 10+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of corporate credit products, loan origination, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver solutions that enhance corporate lending processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and document business requirements for corporate lending products (term loans, working capital, syndicated loans, trade finance, etc.).
- Analyze current corporate lending workflows and identify areas for improvement and automation.
- Collaborate with credit risk, operations, and compliance teams to ensure solutions meet regulatory and risk standards.
- Prepare BRDs, FRDs, process flows, and use cases for corporate lending systems.
- Support loan origination system (LOS) and loan management system (LMS) enhancements specific to corporate lending.
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to define functional specifications and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Assist in UAT, defect resolution, and production rollout.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives in corporate lending, including API integrations, workflow automation, and data analytics.
- Provide subject matter expertise on credit appraisal, underwriting, covenant monitoring, and portfolio management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Corporate Lending within banking or financial services.
- Strong understanding of corporate credit products, loan origination, and risk management processes.
- Experience with corporate lending systems, credit decisioning tools, and workflow platforms.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (Basel norms, IFRS, local lending regulations).
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent documentation skills (BRD, FRD, process maps) and stakeholder management.
- Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, and Excel.
Preferred:
- Exposure to syndicated lending, trade finance, and structured credit products.
- Knowledge of digital lending platforms, API-based integrations, and data analytics.
- Certifications like CBAP, PMI-PBA, or domain-specific certifications.
