Business Analyst- Capital Markets

Key Responsibilities

Engage with overseas stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for capital market products and processes.

Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Perform gap analysis, process mapping, and impact assessments for new initiatives and regulatory changes.

Collaborate with development, QA, and project management teams to ensure timely delivery.

Required Skills & Experience:

Domain Knowledge:

In-depth understanding of capital market instruments: equities, fixed income, - Knowledge on derivatives, FX, commodities is not mandatory but nice to have

Strong grasp of trade lifecycle: order capture, execution, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation.

Familiarity with market infrastructure: exchanges, clearing houses, custodians, and market data providers.

Business Analysis Skills:

Proficiency in requirements elicitation techniques: interviews, workshops, document analysis, and observation.

Ability to create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and wireframes.

Experience in gap analysis, impact assessment, and feasibility studies.

Technical & Tools:

Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Lucidchart or similar tools.

Understanding of API specifications, data mapping, and integration workflows.

Familiarity with financial data platforms like Bloomberg, Refinitiv, or ICE Data.

Soft Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with international stakeholders.

Strong stakeholder management and conflict resolution abilities.

Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in Agile/Scrum as well as Waterfall environments.
