Business Analyst (2–5 Years Experience)

About the Role:

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst with 25 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in requirement gathering, stakeholder coordination, and documentation, along with prior experience in the Marine domain. You will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions while ensuring project objectives are met efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through stakeholder discussions and workshops
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and domain experts to ensure clarity of requirements
• Prepare comprehensive documentation including BRD (Business Requirement Document), FRD (Functional Requirement Document), and SRS (Software Requirement Specification)
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Ensure adherence to SDLC processes and best practices
• Manage and track requirements, user stories, and workflows using Jira and Confluence
• Perform data analysis and reporting using MS Excel
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure successful implementation of solutions
• Identify process improvement opportunities within the Marine domain

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 25 years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Mandatory prior experience in the Marine domain
• Strong understanding of Agile methodology and SDLC frameworks
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a 12:00 PM 9:00 PM shift

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams
• Exposure to process mapping and workflow optimization
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements within the Marine industry
