Job Description
Responsibilities
• Assist in the construction and assembly of architectural models using various materials, such as wood, foam, plastic, and cardboard.
• Follow instructions and interpret architectural drawings and blueprints to accurately create models that reflect the design intent.
• Utilize model-making tools and equipment, including laser cutters, 3D printers, and traditional model-making tools.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to understand project requirements and ensure that models meet their specifications.
• Apply artistic and creative skills to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the models, ensuring they are visually appealing and effectively communicate the design concepts.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the proper storage and organization of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Assist in the maintenance and repair of model-making equipment to ensure their optimal functionality.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in model-making techniques and materials and incorporate them into the construction process when appropriate.
• Adhere to established safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
