Role Description

Engineer is responsible for managing or performing work across multiple areas of the bank's overall IT Platform/Infrastructure including analysis, development, and administration. It may also involve taking functional oversight of engineering delivery for specific departments.

Your key responsibilities

• Ensure business processes designed follow specifications and in compliance with the business/legal requirements
• Lead workshops to gather the information needed for fit-gap analysis or blueprints.
• Work with application developers to resolve functional issues from UATs, and to help find solutions for various functional difficulty areas.
• Work with Application Management area for functional area trouble shooting and resolution to reported bugs / issues on applications.
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
• Strong analysis skills and should be able to demonstrate expertise in impact analysis, business processes, writing/simplifying requirements and use cases 
• Previous experience in Banking/ Financial Domain, will be a plus
• Strong experience in driving business discussions, business workshops, processes, meetings and translate into requirement documents
• Should understand definition of technical requirements for transaction representation

Your skills and experience

• More than 10+ years of working as a functional lead  
• Experience to deliver artefacts as needed: Business Requirements Document, Functional Specification Document, PRD, Use Cases, estimates conceptualize complex process flows and business flows
• Hands-on experience in End to End business processes, requirements engineering for financial institutions, process management tools and technique.
• Experience in stakeholder management like business units/users, infrastructure teams, audit, management, DEV/Testing teams.
• Should be fluent in clarifying, breaking down requirements with development & testing teams, program management
• Should be comfortable with agile/waterfall model, create user stories where applicable 
• Experience in delivering projects in a challenging environment with tight timelines
• Awareness/experience how cloud technology works in the background
• Hands-on experience on tools like HP ALM, Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence, Agile methodology
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
