B.Tech Course Counsellor

Ramaiah Institute of Science and Management Foundation seeks an experienced B. Tech Course Counsellor to guide prospective students through admissions for STEM programs. This role converts enquiries into enrolments by providing personalized academic and career counselling for B. Tech programs launching August 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one and group counselling sessions for B. Tech aspirants, explaining curriculum, international collaborations (UIC-USA), campus facilities, and career prospects.
• Assess student profiles (Class 12 marks, JEE/entrance scores, interests) to recommend suitable specializations like Computer Science, AI, Mechanical, or emerging STEM tracks.
• Handle daily enquiry follow-ups via phone, email, WhatsApp, and CRM, nurturing hot leads through the admission funnel to application and fee payment.
• Organize campus tours (virtual/physical), parent webinars, and doubt-clearing sessions highlighting residential campus benefits and industry linkages near Devanahalli.
• Collaborate with admissions operations to verify eligibility, prepare offer letters, and resolve payment/visa queries for international applicants.
• Track counselling outcomes, maintain conversion metrics, and provide feedback to marketing teams on student objections and preferences.
• Stay updated on competitive exams (JEE Main/Advanced, KCET, COMEDK), entrance requirements, and B. Tech market trends.

Required Qualifications

Education

• B.Tech/B.E. or any UG Engineering/Technology; MBA preferred.

Experience

• 2+ years counselling/recruitment for engineering programs; coaching center/university experience advantageous.

Skills

• Excellent communication (English + Kannada/Hindi); CRM proficiency; presentation skills; knowledge of entrance exams and B.Tech career paths.
