Job Description

We are seeking a skilled BrightScript Developer with at least 5+ years of experience building scalable, high-performing applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in BrightScript , . You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain web and mobile solutions that deliver great user experiences.

Responsibilities:

1. Application Development & enhancement:

• Develop and maintain high-quality Roku applications using BrightScript.
• Translate UI/UX wireframes into functional Roku channel components.
• Create reusable components, modules, and services for scalable application architectures.

2. Technical Implementation:

• Integrate REST APIs, video streaming services, DRM, and analytics SDKs within Roku applications.
• Implement adaptive streaming formats such as HLS, Dash, and Smooth Streaming.
• Optimize performance, memory usage, and video playback to ensure smooth user experience.

3. Testing & Debugging:

• Conduct rigorous code reviews, unit testing, and functional testing of Roku applications.
• Use Rokus debugging tools, logs, and profiling utilities to identify and fix issues.
• Ensure applications meet platform guidelines and pass certification requirements.

4. Collaboration & Documentation:

• Work closely with designers, backend engineers, and product teams to deliver feature-rich streaming experiences.
• Document technical designs, code logic, and release notes.
