WHO WE ARE
Legend of Toys (LOT) is a full stack D2C toys brand. We design and manufacture RC cars and drones where each product has a personality with a name and a backstory. We are building a brand from India that competes on identity, not price. Dark-first design. Cinematic product worlds. A community called Drift Club. Toys that feel like they belong in a movie.
We are early. Things are moving fast. The brand has bones - identity, a creative team, product assets, and channel presence - but it needs someone to own it properly, tighten everything up, raise the bar.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
Brand Consistency & Language
Audit and fix inconsistencies across all brand touchpoints social, listings, packaging, website, and campaign assets
Establish and enforce the LOT brand language, tone, and visual identity as a non-negotiable standard
Own the brand dashboard and ensure it is actively maintained and acted on
Creative Leadership
Lead the creative team of 6
Raise the creative bar - push for originality and ambition
Get your hands dirty when needed: creative reviews, direction setting, copy edits, art direction on shoots
Team Building & Culture
Coach and develop a young team that has potential but lacks experience - teach them how to think about brand, not just execute tasks
Maintain team morale and establish a culture of ownership and craft
Hire additional talent as the brand function grows
Influencer & Community
Take ownership of influencer marketing and build it into a structured, brand-led program
Grow the Drift Club community, LOT's enthusiast base, with content, campaigns, and activations that feel genuine
Product Launches & Campaigns
Own launch planning and execution, every new product should feel like a brand moment, not just a listing going live
Build repeatable launch frameworks that the team can operate independently over time
Channel & Marketplace
Ensure brand consistency across Web, Ecom and QuickCom
Own A+ content, listing images, and brand store assets in collaboration with the creative team
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Experience
5 - 10 years in brand marketing, with meaningful time spent at a modern D2C consumer brand
Demonstrated experience leading and developing creative teams
Strong instincts for design, storytelling, and brand coherence across channels
Background in beauty, FMCG, lifestyle, kidswear, or any category that takes brand seriously, toys experience is a bonus, not a requirement
The Person
Self-starter who doesn't wait to be told what needs fixing
Outcomes-oriented: cares about what actually ships and what it looks like in the market, not just what was briefed
Strong people manager - patient enough to teach, direct enough to set standards, honest enough to give feedback
Creative enough to have opinions and defend them, collaborative enough to take direction from a founder
Comfortable with ambiguity, fast timelines, and a team that is still figuring things out
WHY THIS ROLE
You will have real ownership and tons of creative liberty. You will report directly to the person building the company, with the autonomy to shape how LOT looks and feels in the market.
