Were building Indias biggest live shopping platform. Sellers go live across Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram and now the Zoop Buyer app simultaneously from a single phone - and buyers discover, watch, and purchase in real time. We handle the streaming infrastructure, orders, payments, invoicing, and increasingly, the AI that makes sellers more successful with every stream.
Were Peak XV-backed, have 1,000+ active sellers across 15+ states, and ship product daily. Live commerce is a category that barely exists in India right now. Were the ones building it.
Live commerce is a new category in India. Most people havent heard of it. The ones who have are vaguely aware its big in China. Almost nobody understands what it actually looks like here - the sellers, the economics, the energy of a live session where someone sells 200 kurtis in 45 minutes from their living room.
Thats the communication challenge. Were not marketing a well-understood product to a well-understood audience. Were building awareness for an entirely new way of buying and selling, and we need someone who can make people feel it - not just understand it intellectually.
This role owns Zoops voice across every channel - Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn. Youll define how Zoop sounds, looks, and feels to the outside world. That means writing copy thats sharp and consistent, creating reels and videos that actually perform, and building a cohesive brand language that works whether were talking to a seller in Surat or a VC on LinkedIn.
You need to be comfortable in front of the camera. Not just willing - actually good at it. A big part of this role is creating content yourself: presenting, explaining, reacting, storytelling on video. Youll also work with sellers and creators to produce UGC.
The right person for this role thinks about brand as a system, not a one-off. Every post, reel, caption, offline assets and comment is part of how people understand what Zoop is. Youll be the person who makes sure that system is coherent, compelling, and grows.
- Define and maintain Zoops brand voice across all channels - a tone that works for sellers, buyers, investors, and potential hires simultaneously
- Write all social media copy: captions, scripts, hooks, CTAs, bios, offline assets, descriptions. Everything that has Zoops name on it goes through you
- Build a brand language system - guidelines, tone references, dos and donts - so the voice stays consistent as the team grows
- Adapt messaging for different platforms without losing brand coherence: what works on LinkedIn is different from Instagram is different from YouTube
- Write and manage copy for campaigns, launches, announcements, and seller spotlights
- Plan, script, shoot, and publish reels, stories, and short-form video content for Instagram and YouTube
- Be the face of Zoops content where needed - present, explain, react, tell stories on camera with confidence
- Create performance-driven content: product explainers, seller success stories, platform walkthroughs, trend-jacking pieces
- Work with sellers and creators to produce authentic UGC that showcases the live commerce experience
- Collaborate with the video editor to ensure final output matches brand standards and performs well
- Manage the complete content lifecycle: ideation scripting filming editing briefs posting performance review
- Own Zoops presence across Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn end-to-end
- Maintain a consistent posting calendar and ensure Zoop stays visible and active across all channels
- Plan and execute organic campaigns designed to grow following, engagement, and awareness
- Understand platform algorithms deeplywhat gets pushed, what gets buried, and how to play each platforms game
- Track analytics across all channels: impressions, reach, engagement rates, follower growth, video performance. Use data to inform what you make next
- Design and execute UGC and influencer/creator collaboration campaigns
- Help build and grow Zoops YouTube presence as a key long-form and shorts channel
- Develop a content strategy for YouTube specifically - what formats work, what topics resonate, how to build a subscriber base
- Optimise for YouTube SEO: titles, thumbnails, descriptions, tags, end screens
- Analyse watch time, retention curves, and click-through rates to iterate on whats working
- Exceptional copywriterthis is non-negotiable. You write clean, sharp, engaging copy. You can adapt tone across platforms without losing the thread. If your writing doesnt make people stop scrolling, this isnt the right fit
- Comfortable and confident on camerayou can shoot a reel, present to camera, and produce content that feels natural and watchable. Not just willing to tryactually good at it
- Brand systems thinkeryou understand that a brand isnt a logo or a colour palette, its a voice. You think about consistency, coherence, and how every touchpoint adds up to a perception
- Deep platform knowledgeyou understand how Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn work. Not just postingalgorithms, formats, best practices, whats trending and why
- Content production skillsyou can ideate, script, storyboard, shoot (phone is fine), and brief editors. You manage the full lifecycle, not just one piece of it
- Data-informed approachyou track performance, you know your numbers, and you let analytics guide your content decisions. Not vibes-only
- Basic photography, graphic design sense, and visual storytelling ability
- 1+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, or brand communications
- Experience running influencer or creator collaboration campaigns
- YouTube SEO knowledge and experience growing a channel from scratch
- Experience with performance marketing concepts (understanding what drives clicks, conversions, and paid amplification)
- Familiarity with design tools (Canva, Figma) and video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Pro)
- Experience in e-commerce, marketplace, or startup environments
- Understanding of Indias tier-2/tier-3 retail and seller landscape
- CTC: 79 LPA
