Job Description
Job Purpose :
To drive retail-led growth of Pipes & Water Storage Solutions by expanding dealer and retailer network, activating influencers, strengthening secondary sales, and ensuring strong brand presence across the assigned branch territory.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Sales & Market Expansion
- Drive retail sales volumes of Pipes & Water Storage Solutions through distributors, dealers, and retail outlets.
- Execute beat plans, market visits, and outlet coverage to maximize retail penetration.
- Identify white spaces, new towns, and under-penetrated retail markets.
- Push secondary and tertiary sales to improve off-take and channel liquidity.
Dealer & Retailer Management
- Appoint, develop, and manage retail-focused dealers, sub-dealers, and retailers.
- Improve dealer productivity through schemes, incentives, and visibility initiatives.
- Ensure optimal stock availability across distributors and key retail counters.
- Monitor credit limits, collections, and outstanding ageing at branch level.
Influencer Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with plumbers, masons, contractors, and installers.
- Conduct plumber meets, retailer meets, and product awareness programs.
- Drive influencer loyalty, recommendation, and referral-based sales.
Brand Visibility & Retail Activation
- Ensure strong in-shop branding, signage, displays, and outdoor visibility.
- Execute local promotions, seasonal schemes, and retail activations.
- Track competitor pricing, schemes, and market activities.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead and manage Sales Officers, Territory Executives, and support staff.
- Set targets, review performance, and monitor market execution.
- Coach the team on retail selling, negotiation, and influencer management.
Branch Operations & Reporting
- Oversee order processing, billing, dispatch coordination, and customer service.
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs, policies, and statutory compliance.
- Maintain branch MIS, sales forecasts, and regular reporting to HO.

- Retail sales volume & value
- Secondary & tertiary sales growth
- Active dealer and retailer base

Qualifications & Experience
- Education: MBA-Tier 1/ Tier 2 Institute
- Experience: 2-4 years in retail-driven sales
- Preferred Industry:
- Pipes (PVC / CPVC / HDPE)
- Water Storage Solutions / Water Management Products
- Plumbing, Sanitaryware, Building Materials
