Bookkeeper – Rental Property Accounting (US Real Estate Clients)

Job Title: Property Accountant (USA-Based Rental Property Clients)

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant to join our growing accounting team managing real estate and property-based clients in the USA. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of hands-on experience with cloud accounting platforms like QuickBooks Desktop Online, Zoho Books, Xero, or is a fresher with strong accounting fundamentals and a passion to grow in the property accounting field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and categorize daily financial transactions for property clients (rental income, expenses, deposits, etc.)
• Assist in monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
• Support the preparation of property-wise income statements and expense reports
• Maintain accurate records of lease agreements, rent rolls, and tenant deposits
• Work closely with senior accountants to ensure timely closing of monthly books
• Help in managing accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and client-specific processes
• Communicate effectively with U.S.-based clients and internal teams

Qualifications & Skills:

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA in Finance or Accounting
• 1-2 year of experience in accounting, preferably in real estate or property-related domains
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Xero (experience in at least one is a must)
• Fresher candidates with strong academic background are also welcome
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple client files
