Blockchain Development Engineering Tech Lead

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Development Engineering Tech lead with extensive experience in blockchain technology to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in leading the development of blockchain-based solutions, contributing to the architecture, design, and implementation of innovative products. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects, while also providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design and development of blockchain-based applications, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
2. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
3. Architect robust and efficient solutions leveraging blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized protocols.
4. Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and coding standards.
5. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
6. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in blockchain technology and evaluate their potential impact on our products and services.
7. Mentor and coach junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team.
8. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of production systems.
9. Collaborate with external partners and third-party vendors as needed for integration and interoperability with blockchain networks.
10. Contribute to the documentation and knowledge sharing efforts within the team.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience (X years) in software development, with a focus on blockchain technology.
3. Strong proficiency in blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Hyperledger, or Corda.
4. Solid understanding of blockchain concepts, including distributed ledger technology, consensus mechanisms, and cryptography.
5. Experience with smart contract development using languages such as Solidity or Vyper.
6. Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
7. Experience with blockchain development tools and frameworks (e.g., Truffle, Remix, Web3.js).
8. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
9. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
11. Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
