Description

We are seeking to recruit an ambitious and dynamic BIM Modeller to join the Integrated Complementary Resource Centre GCC AU India BIM team in Bengaluru to work alongside our AU Rail disciplines.
The successful candidate will be working in a team environment to develop and deliver projects through various stages of design, from feasibility to planning/detailed design and construction.
Working with the Civil & Structural Group Lead in AU to develop cost-effective, efficient and innovative Civil & Structural solutions to complex problems and then using engineering tools such as Revit, Open Building Designer(Aeosim), Tekla, Robot, AutoCAD and Civil 3D to create practical designs based on these solutions.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain detailed 3D structural models using BIM software (Revit, ACC, 3D MicroStation, AECOsim / OpenBuilding Designer, ProjectWise, AutoCAD, iTwin)
Interpret architectural and engineering plans to develop integrated structural models.
Generate and extract 2D drawings, details, and schedules from 3D models for construction documentation.
Perform clash detection and resolve spatial conflicts between structural, architectural, and MEP components.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure model accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Update and modify models as per revised plans, specifications, or redline markups.
Maintain project BIM libraries, templates, and families.
You will be working and supporting a range of infrastructure schemes to independently develop engineering BIM models and drawings under the relevant standards.
You will be expected to play a proactive part in the design process and be active on several projects at any given time.
You will be contributing to all types of projects.
You will read and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures for Health and Safety, including the H&S Policy, H&S Manual, and Local Procedures Manual
You will take responsibility for your own personal development with the support of the line manager and follow an agreed development plan.
You will assist in the development of others in the team.

BIM Technician - Structures
