BIM Technician - ITS

WSP is seeking to recruit an ambitious and dynamic CAD/ CIVIL 3D/ Revit Technician to join our Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) team in Noida/Bengaluru to work alongside our Middle East discipline.

The successful candidate will be working in a team environment to develop and deliver projects through various stages of design from feasibility to planning/detailed design and onto construction.

Responsibilities

You will be working and supporting on a range of Intelligent Transport Systems infrastructure schemes to independently develop engineering drawings in accordance with the relevant standards.

You will be expected to play a proactive part in the design process and to be active on several projects at any given time.

You will be using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks and other engineering software for the production and development of drawings.

Qualifications

Ability to utilise AutoCAD in adherence to defined CAD standards to develop layouts, labelling, dimensioning, sheet layouts, design details and other appropriate design concepts for various Traffic Signal Control System and Intelligent Transport Systems projects.

Ability to create parametric library elements in Civil3D (catalogues, Part Builder, signage, and Assemblies) and Civil3D models as per the BIM standards.

Ability to create BEP (BIM EXECUTION PLAN) as per the project standards

Ability to generate Plan and profile drawings from the Civil 3D models as directed by the lead and performing Clash Detections and Visual Walkthroughs (CDVW) in Navisworks.

Ability to use Common Data Environment for information exchange like ProjectWise or BIM360

Ability to liaise with the design teams as necessary to coordinate design and drawing production.

Commitment to work as part of a design team focused on project delivery.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Experience

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a CAD/ Civil 3D / Revit technician role in Dry utilities

Experience or knowledge of working with BIM processes and procedures

Experience in designing Intelligent Transportation System and Traffic Signal Control System Networks (Preferred)
