Job Title: BIM Specialist F&B, Retail & Commercial Projects

Position Summary:

The BIM Specialist will be responsible for the creation, development, and maintenance of highly accurate Building Information Models (BIM) for F&B, retail, and commercial fit-out projects. The role involves supporting the design and technical teams in producing coordinated, data-rich models that meet project standards and client requirements. Experience working on Middle East projectswith knowledge of regional building codes, authority guidelines, and fast-track retail environmentsis considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

1. BIM Modeling & Documentation

Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.

Generate accurate construction drawings, schedules, and documentation from the BIM models.

Ensure all model elements align with project specifications, brand standards, and BIM Execution Plans (BEP).

2. Design Coordination & Integration

Collaborate with design teams, engineers, and consultants to ensure seamless coordination and model integration.

Participate in clash detection and issue resolution using Navisworks or equivalent tools.

Support interdisciplinary collaboration by managing and updating model changes efficiently.

3. BIM Standards & Quality Control

Adhere to company BIM standards, templates, and workflows for consistency across all projects.

Conduct regular model audits to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standards.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM workflows and best practices.

4. Technical Support & Visualization

Provide Revit and BIM-related technical support to team members and consultants.

Assist in preparing 3D visualizations, renderings, and presentations when required.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new BIM technologies, tools, and trends relevant to retail and F&B design.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline.

36 years of professional experience in BIM modeling and documentation.

Proven experience in F&B, retail, or commercial fit-out projects.

Middle East experience is preferred, with exposure to local authority requirements and fast-track project environments.

Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.

Familiarity with BIM 360, Dynamo, and Enscape (or equivalent visualization and automation tools) is an advantage.
