Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a BIM Modeller (Electrical), located in Chennai. The BIM Modeller will be responsible for developing and managing Building Information Models specific to electrical systems for construction projects. Daily tasks include preparing and reviewing detailed construction drawings, collaborating with MEP and architecture teams, and ensuring compliance with project design requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Electrical BIM Modeller (35 Years Experience):i. Developed 3D electrical models using Autodesk Revit for building and metro projects.ii. Prepared electrical layouts including lighting, power, cable tray, trunking, and earthing systems.iii. Performed clash detection and coordination using Navisworks.iv. Coordinated with VAC-TVS, plumbing, firefighting, Structural and architectural teams.v. Modeled electrical rooms, shafts, and containment systems.vi.Maintained BIM standards and updated models based on design changes.vii. Participated in coordination and client meetings.
• Previous experience in BIM-specific roles or similar is highly desirable
