BIM Manager - (Infrastructure – Transportation)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced BIM Manager Infrastructure (Transportation) to lead BIM strategy, digital coordination, and model governance across large-scale transportation projects such as highways, metro, rail, airports, or urban mobility systems.

The role involves driving BIM implementation from design through construction and handover, ensuring alignment with project BIM standards, project BIM goal, and client information requirements.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. BIM Strategy & Implementation

• Develop and implement the Project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) in coordination with Digital Practice Lead Specialist
• Define BIM standards, workflows, and modeling guidelines for infrastructure projects.
• Align BIM deliverables with Employers Information Requirements (EIR).
• Establish LOD/LOI requirements (LOD 200500).

2. Model Management & Coordination

• Lead multidisciplinary coordination (Civil, Structural, MEP, Utilities).
• Manage federated models using coordination platforms.
• Conduct clash detection and issue resolution workshops.
• Ensure model integrity, quality control, and compliance with standards.

3. Transportation Infrastructure Modeling Oversight

Experience in projects such as:

• Highways & Expressways
• Metro & Rail Corridors
• Airports
• Bridges & Tunnels
• Urban Transportation Systems

Ensure modeling compliance for:

• Alignment & corridor modeling
• Earthwork & grading
• Utilities coordination
• Structural components
• MEP integration

4. Digital Delivery & Data Management

• Implement Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows.
• Manage COBie parameters and asset data for handover.
• Support Asset data integration strategies.
• Ensure model-based quantity take-offs and 4D/5D integration.

5. Stakeholder & Team Leadership

• Lead BIM Engineers and Coordinators.
• Interface with clients, PMC, contractors, and consultants.
• Conduct BIM training sessions and capability development.
• Drive continuous improvement in digital delivery practices.

6. Software & Tools Expertise

Strong working knowledge of:

• Autodesk Civil 3D
• Revit
• Navisworks
• InfraWorks
• Bentley OpenRoads (Optional)
• ACC / BIM 360
• ProjectWise (Optional)
• Dynamo / scripting (added advantage)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors / Masters in Civil Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in infrastructure projects.
• 3+ years in BIM leadership role.
• Strong understanding of ISO 19650 standards.
• Experience in LOD 300500 project delivery.
• Experience in transportation sector mandatory.
