Role Purpose

The Associate Lead - Billing, GRN & SAP will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of billing processes, Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), and SAP system operations within the Data Center BU. This role is critical to supporting AdaniConneXs mission of delivering state-of-the-art, environmentally conscious data center infrastructure by ensuring operational efficiency, accuracy in financial transactions, and alignment with the business units strategic goals. The role will directly contribute to the timely and accurate management of financial and operational data, enabling the Data Center BU to maintain its global benchmarks in operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the end-to-end billing processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal standards.
• Coordinate and validate Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) to ensure accurate inventory and financial records.
• Act as the primary point of contact for SAP system operations related to billing and GRN, ensuring optimal system performance and troubleshooting issues.
• Collaborate with project teams to align billing and GRN processes with ongoing data center construction and operational projects.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of billing and GRN workflows.
• Ensure alignment of billing and GRN processes with AdaniConneXs sustainability and operational goals.
• Generate and analyze reports from SAP to provide actionable insights for financial and operational decision-making.
• Train and mentor team members on SAP functionalities and best practices related to billing and GRN.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, including finance, procurement, and project teams, to ensure seamless integration of billing and GRN processes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP system updates and industry best practices to continuously improve operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in billing, GRN, and SAP operations, preferably within the data center or infrastructure sector.
• Proven expertise in managing SAP modules related to billing and inventory management.
• Demonstrated experience in process optimization and stakeholder collaboration.

Educational Background

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• SAP certification or equivalent training in relevant modules is highly preferred

Years & Type of Experience

• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in billing, GRN, and SAP operations.
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure or data center projects is an advantage.

Domain Expertise

• In-depth knowledge of SAP modules related to billing, GRN, and inventory management.
• Familiarity with financial and operational workflows in the data center or infrastructure industry.
• Expertise in process improvement methodologies and tools.

Digital & Operational Tools

• Proficiency in SAP ERP systems, particularly modules related to billing and inventory.
• Experience with data analysis tools for generating actionable insights.
• Familiarity with digital tools and platforms used in project management and operational efficiency.

KPI Description Billing Accuracy Rate Achieve a billing accuracy rate of 98% or higher within the first year. GRN Processing Timeliness Ensure 95% of GRNs are processed within the defined SLA.SAP System Uptime Maintain SAP system uptime of 99.5% or higher for billing and GRN modules. Process Improvement Metrics Implement at least 3 process improvements leading to measurable efficiency gains. Stakeholder Satisfaction Achieve a stakeholder satisfaction score of 90% or higher in operational processes.
