Billing Executive

Patient Billing & Cash Handling

• Generate accurate OPD/IPD bills for consultations, diagnostics, and surgical procedures.
• Process payments (cash, card, UPI, online transfer).
• Issue receipts and maintain daily cash collection records.
• Handle advance deposits and final settlement bills.
• Manage refunds as per hospital policy.

Documentation & Compliance

• Ensure billing complies with hospital tariff and package rates.
• Verify medical records before claim submission.
• Maintain digital and physical billing records.

MIS & Reporting

• Prepare daily collection reports.
• Track outstanding dues.
• Assist in reconciliation with accounts department

Required Qualification

• Graduate in Commerce / Accounts / Healthcare Administration preferred.
• 13 years experience in hospital billing (Eye hospital experience preferred).
• Knowledge of TPA portals and insurance processing.
• Basic accounting knowledge.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Hospital Management Software (HMS).

Working Conditions

• Full-time hospital-based role.
• May require extended hours during high OPD days.
• Coordination with doctors, OT staff, front office, and accounts department.
