JOB POSITION
- Carelon Global Solution India is seeking for a Senior QA Engineer who has knowledge of healthcare domain and a commitment to work with team of application developers (team members and vendor partners) and collaborate with a solution architects and onsite leads to effectively deliver projects, enhancements, and applications.
- Understanding lifecycle of Software development and developing scalable solution using any language which complies with the design and coding standards, policies and procedures.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
- Work with team of application developers (team members and vendor partners) and collaborate with a solution architects and onsite leads to effectively deliver projects, enhancements, and applications.
- Responsible for writing test cases, test scripts and validating the business features end to end.
- Identify all possible scenario’s to automate and implement the end to end automation.
- Execute/Manage end to end project i.e., from Requirement Gathering to software development and implementation, and overseeing operations team
- Analyses and evaluates detailed business and technical requirements.
- Codes and maintains complex components of information systems.
- Develops and performs unit testing and fixes defects identified during testing and re-executes unit tests to validate results.
- Ensure code quality by performing technical design and code reviews
- Module level ownership and ensure that any development that occurs in that module is as per the agreed solution.
- Propose automation solutions maximizing efficiency and productibility, addressing security and performance concerns and creating reusable code components
- Responsible for on-time development completion with low defect rate – through close interactions / reviews with the other developers
- Ready to learn new technology/ application
- Should ready to work in support project if needed
QUALIFICATION
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering Stream
- Nice to have: Specialized training, certifications, and/or other special requirements
- Preferred education: Computer Science/Engineering
EXPERIENCE
- Should have hands on experience in Software development/IT project support for at least 5 years of Big data QA experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of IT.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Should have prior experience in Bigdata Testing, SQL, Hive
- Demonstrate experience influencing with technical and business stakeholders through verbal and written communications.
- Interpersonal Management with GIC model experience in mid-to-large teams.
- Analytical mindset with good problem-solving skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Developing, Designing and implementing large scale enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of the Agile process.
- Detailed-oriented with strong documentation and tracking skills.
- View challenges as opportunities and offer potential solutions.
- Ask questions to understand stakeholder roles and needs with an open mind.
- Look for opportunities to create value for all stakeholders.
