About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Big Data Engineer with expertise in Hadoop Ecosystem to join our Digital team. The candidate will be responsible for building and optimizing large-scale data processing systems and ensuring high performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Big Data solutions using Hadoop and related technologies.
• Develop and optimize data ingestion pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Work with distributed systems to ensure data reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights.
• Ensure compliance with data security and governance standards .

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Hadoop Ecosystem (HDFS, MapReduce, YARN).
• Hands-on experience with Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Oozie .
• Proficiency in Spark and Kafka .
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (HBase, Cassandra).
• Programming skills in Java, Scala, or Python .
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to data lake architectures and machine learning pipelines .
• Certification in Big Data technologies is a plus.
