Role Summary:

The purpose of this role is to optimize, maintain, and provide support for Big Data applications.

The ideal candidate should be adaptable to evolving open-source technologies and possess strong

knowledge of cloud services and DevOps tools. You will be responsible for providing end-to-end

technical support (L1, L2, L3) for customers, along with implementing enhancements and resolving

issues.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to maintain high availability, security, performance, and reliability across multiple production applications.
• Use opensource tools and technologies while developing scripts and automation to enhance operational efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement by managing systems, embracing frequent deployments, and enhancing production applications.
• Implement and maintain automation solutions to streamline recurring Level 1 and Level 2 operational tasks.
• Collaborate across teams effectively with a focus on business outcomes and proactive issue resolution.

Technical Experience:

• 23 years of handson experience in the Hadoop ecosystem with strong knowledge of Hive, Impala, Sqoop, Oozie, HDFS, Kafka, and distributed computing concepts.
• Proficient in Java/Scala, MapReduce, Spark, along with solid Shell scripting and Linux expertise.
• Familiar with databases such as Oracle, HBase, and Cassandra, with added advantage of experience in Cloudera CDP (including CDHtoCDP migration).
• Strong debugging ability using application/system logs, with the capability to manage production environments and work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with leadership traitsproactive, selfmotivated, quick learner, and able to guide team members.

Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering.
