Key Responsibilities

• Develop & Implement:
• Build data processing applications and pipelines using big data frameworks (Hadoop, Spark).

Data Ingestion & ETL:

• Create workflows to ingest data from diverse sources and transform it for analysis.

• Coding:
• Write optimized code (Java, Python, Scala, SQL) for data manipulation and analysis.

• System Management:
• Configure, manage, and support big data platforms and tools (HBase, HDFS, YARN).

• Collaboration:
• Work with data engineers, scientists, and analysts to understand requirements and integrate solutions.

• Security & Compliance:
• Implement measures to protect sensitive data and meet regulatory standards.

• Testing & Monitoring:
• Conduct testing and troubleshoot performance issues in data pipelines.

• Documentation:
• Create technical specifications and operational guidelines.

Core Skills & Technologies

• Programming: Java, Python, Scala, SQL.
• Big Data Tools: Hadoop Ecosystem (HDFS, MapReduce, YARN, Hive, HBase), Spark, Kafka.
• Databases: NoSQL (MongoDB) & Relational (SQL).
• Concepts: Data modeling, ETL, data warehousing, distributed systems.
• Soft Skills: Problem-solving, communication, analytical thinking, teamwork.
