We are a fast-growing 140-member business consulting practice focused on Financial Services, primarily Asset Management and Insurance. We work with large global and Indian clients on Internal Audit and Risk Advisory engagements.

Role Overview

As an Internal Audit Manager, you will lead and deliver internal audit and risk consulting engagements for insurance companies and asset managers, with a strong focus on investment and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end internal audit engagements (planning to reporting)
• Perform process walkthroughs, risk & control assessments, RCMs, audit programs, and control testing (design & operating effectiveness)
• Deliver audits across front, middle, and back office investment processes
• Apply Internal Audit, SOX, IFC, ICFR methodologies in line with IIA standards
• Identify process improvement opportunities and provide value-added recommendations
• Manage engagements within agreed timelines, cost, and quality standards
• Support business development (proposals, lead identification)
• Ensure compliance with firm quality and risk management policies

Domain Expertise Required

• Strong understanding of Insurance / Asset Management industry risks and trends
• Exposure to multiple asset classes: Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, PE, Real Estate, Hedge Funds & Alternatives

Managerial Expectations

• Lead and mentor teams; act as a people manager/counsellor
• Contribute to knowledge sharing, thought leadership, and solution development
• Ability to work as both engagement lead and individual contributor when required

Personal Attributes

• Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple engagements
• Strong analytical mindset; proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word & data analytics
• Flexible to work across time zones and travel if required
• Self-motivated team player with a proactive risk mindset
