Position Description
The purpose of this role is to develop and implement bid strategy and plans required to deliver on all parameters of government business. The role also requires showcasing end to end ownership for specific sets of large bids/ RFP across India including feasibility, vendor alliance, documentation and more. The role expects analysis of data for all bids that are submitted and developing a holistic process for it.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Bid Process and Planning
Formulate an overall Strategic Operating Plan for the bid management process and handle large bids.
Map a long-term vision and focus for business, create, and manage effective processes for central bid management team.
Use historical data to analyse all bids and learn and formulate strategies for future bids.
Ensure the creation of comprehensive and high-quality bid documents, including technical specifications, scope of work, and pricing details.
Conduct thorough analysis and understanding of bid requirements, specifications, and client expectations.
Identify potential risks associated with the bid and develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor deadlines for various bid components and ensure timely completion of all documentation.
Formulate a pricing strategy that aligns with the bid requirements and market conditions.
Implement a robust compliance assurance process to review bid documents for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to guidelines.
Conduct a final review to guarantee the accuracy and completeness of the submission.
Conduct a post-submission analysis to gather insights on the bid process.
Establish and maintain a centralized document repository for all bid-related materials.
Ensure the repository is organized, accessible, and updated to support future bids and audits.
Stakeholder Management
Network at all levels of internal organization to ensure greater alignment and support for creating a competitive solution.
Partner with OEMs, Cloud service providers, TSPs, Security Solutions Partners and more to get best support for the bids.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including partners, vendors, and legal advisors.
Knowledge, Certifications and Experience
Education Qualification MBA or an equivalent degree
Total Experience 4 – 5 years of relevant experience in the Govt sector/ PSUs preferably from telco/system integrator industry
