Job Description

Job title/Role- Bid Anchor

Location -Mumbai


Job purpose


We are seeking an experienced Bid Anchor, managing end-to-end bid processes and proposal development. The candidate will coordinate bids, review key stakeholders' inputs, manage timelines, and ensure high-quality, competitive submissions.


Key responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end bid lifecycle, from receiving the RFP to final submission.
  • Analyse RFPs, RFQs, and tenders, identifying key requirements, risks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare Bid Summaries, qualify bids and Participate in Go-No go discussions.
  • Prepare effective bid plans and follow up with all stakeholders to ensure timely contributions.
  • Adhere to strict timelines and review processes to meet submission deadlines.
  • Provide daily updates on opportunities and track bid progress.
  • Coordinate with COEs, Delivery, and DT Head for solution validation and technical reviews.
  • Work closely with finance and legal teams for review of Terms & Conditions to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to gather and validate content for bid responses.
  • Ensure alignment with senior leadership for final approvals.
  • Develop compelling executive summaries, remaining proposal content, and own technical and commercial proposals.
  • Ensure all bid responses are accurate, compliant, and persuasive.
  • Maintain a repository of reusable content, case studies, and best practices for future proposals.
  • Ensure bids align with internal governance, compliance, and risk assessment standards.
  • Track and report bid success rates, lessons learned, and areas for improvement.


Qualifications & Desired Skills


  • 4+ years of bid management/proposal writing / pre-sales experience.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale bids in IT services, consulting, or public sector projects.
  • Expertise in managing government and enterprise RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
  • Strong understanding of contracting models, SLAs, and risk management.


Technical & Soft Skills

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple bids simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Proposal Automation Tools
