• Lead end-to-end Power BI implementation, from requirements gathering and data modeling through report development, deployment and user training
• Write, optimize and maintain complex SQL queries using CTEs, window functions, stored procedures and user-defined functions
• Build and support ETL/ELT pipelines or Power BI dataflows feeding semantic models
• Tune SQL and Power BI performance for large, varied data sets
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into clear dashboards and KPIs
• Provide ongoing troubleshooting, enhancements and governance for BI solutions

Experience

• 8+ years in BI and data-engineering roles
• Proven track record with relational databases (e.g. SQL Server) and cloud data platforms
• Hands-on exposure to Snowflake, Azure Synapse or similar cloud warehouses
• Experience with version control (Git, Azure DevOps) and CI/CD for BI artifacts
• Exposure to scripting (Python preferred) for data preparation and automation

Skills

• Candidate should be expert in SQL
• He should be good and quick in query writing as well using CTE, functions and procs etc.
• Candidate should be proficient in Power BI
• Should have E2E knowledge of Power BI implementation
• Good to have Python knowledge
• Good to have exposure on cloud warehouses like Snowflake
