About the Role


We are looking for a highly driven and experienced Bench Sales Recruiter for India Markets to manage and monetize the internal bench by placing consultants across IT and niche technology skillsets. The role demands strong vendor relationships, market intelligence, negotiation skills, and a consistent track record of closures in the Indian staffing ecosystem.


This position is based out of Pune and requires working from the office.


Key Responsibilities

  • Market and place internal bench consultants (IT & niche skills) with Tier 1 vendors, implementation partners, and direct clients across India.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendor networks and staffing partners.
  • Understand client requirements and proactively match suitable bench consultants.
  • Negotiate rates, terms, and contractual agreements to ensure profitable closures.
  • Ensure quick turnaround time (TAT) for submissions and closures.
  • Coordinate with recruiters and delivery teams to align consultant availability and positioning.
  • Track daily/weekly submissions, interviews, and closures.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline reports and revenue projections.
  • Ensure compliance with documentation, contracts, and onboarding processes.
  • Consistently achieve monthly revenue and placement targets.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 56 years of proven experience in India Bench Sales within IT staffing.
  • Strong network of Tier 1 vendors and staffing partners in the Indian market.
  • Experience handling consultants across technologies such as Data Engineering, Cloud, DevOps, Full Stack, SAP, etc.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet revenue targets.
  • Good understanding of rate cards, margins, and billing models.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, ATS, and CRM tools.
