Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Needs Analysis (TNA):
- Conduct regular assessments to identify behavioral and functional training needs across departments and teams.
- Collaborate with department heads and managers to understand the skills gap and ensure training aligns with business objectives.
- Analyze performance data and feedback to continuously improve training effectiveness.
- Behavioral Training:
- Design and deliver behavioral training programs focusing on skills such as leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, time management, and emotional intelligence.
- Develop and roll out soft skills training sessions that foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and leadership within the organization.
- Integrate diversity and inclusion training and employee wellness programs into the overall training structure.
- Identify HIPO’s, curate program as per Kotak securities competency framework and partner externally with top B schools for program delivery
- Ensure the ROI of the program is advocated by tracking post-training performance metrics and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Training Content Development:
- Develop high-quality, engaging, and relevant training materials and resources for behavioral topics.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and external trainers to create tailored training content that meets specific team requirements.
- Continuously update and refresh training modules to keep them relevant and aligned with organizational needs.
- Learning & Development Strategy:
- Contribute to the overall learning strategy for Kotak Securities by incorporating best practices in training and development.
- Promote a learning culture within the organization by encouraging employees to take ownership of their professional development.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise with departmental leaders, HR teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure training programs align with organizational objectives and team goals.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to employees, supporting them through their learning journeys.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in L&D technology, training techniques, and industry knowledge.
- Recommend new tools, methodologies, and strategies to improve training outcomes and employee engagement.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources / Emotional Intelligence, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, with a strong background in behavioral training
- Proven experience designing and delivering digital and physical training programs, especially in a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and e-learning tools (LMS, virtual classrooms, etc.).
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training evaluation tools.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate employees.
- Ability to analyze data and measure training effectiveness using Kirkpatrick's Evaluation Model or similar frameworks.
- Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple programs and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
