Role OverviewWere looking for a Brand Strategist who can help define, sharpen, and consistently execute SkinBaes brand positioning across all touchpoints.
This role is not limited to campaigns or content. You will work on brand thinking, frameworks, positioning, messaging direction, and consistency, ensuring that everything we put out feels cohesive, premium, and intentional.
You will work closely with marketing, content, social, design, and leadership teams to ensure the brand is built thoughtfully and scaled correctly.
Key Responsibilities1. Brand Positioning & Strategy- Define and refine SkinBaes brand positioning, value proposition, and messaging frameworks
- Ensure clarity on who we are, what we stand for, and why we exist as a brand
- Translate brand strategy into clear, actionable guidelines for execution teams
- Continuously evaluate brand relevance, differentiation, and perception
- Support brand architecture across:
- SkinBae as a master brand
- Multiple Korean brands within the portfolio
- Help define how different brands, categories, and hero products should be positioned
- Ensure consistent storytelling while allowing each brand/product to retain its unique identity
- Develop campaign-level messaging frameworks that guide:
- Content
- Copy
- Social media
- Paid marketing
- CRM communication
- Ensure campaigns are rooted in brand strategy, not just short-term performance goals
- Review campaign narratives and provide strategic inputs before execution
- Ensure brand consistency across:
- Website and marketplaces
- Social media
- Email and WhatsApp marketing
- Offline retail, VMD, and events
- Act as a brand quality filter, flagging inconsistencies or dilution early
- Partner with designers and content teams to maintain a cohesive brand experience
- Research and analyse:
- Consumer behaviour
- Category trends
- Competitive landscape
- Translate insights into actionable brand and communication strategies
- Help identify white spaces and growth opportunities for SkinBae and partner brands
- Work closely with:
- Content writers and copywriters
- Social media and performance marketing teams
- Designers and creative partners
- Align internal teams on brand direction, tone, and priorities
- Support leadership with strategic inputs for key launches, partnerships, and initiatives
- Help define and document brand guidelines, tone frameworks, and best practices
- Ensure scalability of brand strategy as the business grows
- Balance short-term marketing needs with long-term brand equity
- 3-6 years of experience in brand strategy, brand marketing, or strategic planning
- Experience in consumer brands, beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or D2C preferred
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to connect insights to execution
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes
- You only enjoy execution without thinking about why
- You prefer working only on campaigns without long-term context
- You struggle with ambiguity or open-ended problems
- You need constant direction to move forward
