Job Responsibilities:

• Participates in a structured on-the-job training program and become familiar with Assurance business intelligence dashboards, Accounting and Assurance Principles and Standards.
• Learn, apply and provide high quality deliverables on the assigned dashboards, data requests, and data management projects.
• For any projects that youre involved with, understand the relevant stakeholder needs, requirements, and business context.
• Learn, understand, and apply basic Excel and Power BI (Power Query and DAX) skills necessary to be successful as an Information Quality Management & Reporting professional.
• Work with the stakeholders and provide relevant updates and complete the tasks assigned within the expected timeframe
• Collaborate with product teams, data engineering and other stakeholders as needed. Focus on developing effective communication and interpersonal skills to build and sustain professional relationships.
• Prepares and documents data analytics and data management work specific tools, applications and templates.
• Ensure the BDOADVANTAGE protocols are followed before the request is delivered to the engagement teams.
• Contributes ideas/opinions to the Information Quality Management & Reporting project teams and listens/responds to other team members views
• Additional responsibilities and projects as required

Education:

• B.com

Experience:

• Prior accounting or data analytics experience, preferred
• Demonstrated initiative in learning, adopting, and/or applying innovative approaches and technology, preferred

Software:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint, preferred
• Knowledge of tools like Power Bi, Alteryx, DAX, SQL will be an added advantage
