Role Overview

Were hiring a high-performing Business Development Manager to drive mid-market and enterprise sales in employee benefits insurance for a fast-scaling insurtech platform. This is a revenue-focused, consultative sales role owning large-ticket premium closures.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end sales: discovery solutioning proposal negotiation closure
  • Engage CXO stakeholders (CHROs, HR Heads, CFOs)
  • Understand client benefit structures, renewals, and pricing challenges
  • Lead insurer negotiations to deliver competitive pricing
  • Collaborate with placement and servicing teams
  • Share market and pricing insights to strengthen offerings


Key Requirements

  • 2+ years of insurance broking experience (employee benefits preferred)
  • Proven revenue performance (2.5x+ of fixed CTC in last 12 months)
  • Experience closing 50L+ premium accounts
  • Strong CXO relationships
  • Deep expertise in placement, underwriting & pricing negotiations
  • Strong insurer network across PSU & private insurers
